have you ever wanted a site that can be managed but don't want to pull in an antire sodding CMS into your site? well, you are in luck!
Starbox Site Manager is a lightweight content manager that you can easily deploy and build your site on. currently the project is in development, and this site is ran on a more "stiff" prototype version of Starbox.
Starbox will provide you with ability to create a site template, and then create managable areas called Components with a single PHP function. And to store data, you can create Infoblocks - schema entities that you give a set of fields to, and use it to store your data to display in a Component. this is the basic jist of Starbox - more will be in public release docs.
